The Native Youth Town Halls Report is Now Available

The Healing Indigenous Lives: Native Youth Town Halls report is available online. The report highlights juvenile justice and public safety concerns and recommendations from Tribal youth ages 14–24.  Held in July 2020, the youth-led town hall meetings are part of the Healing Indigenous Lives Initiative, supported by OJJDP and United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY). More than 155 Native youth participated and provided feedback. Their input will help OJJDP develop programs to improve outcomes for Native youth, enhance public safety, promote accountability, and empower communities.
